Millie & Jamie | Wedding at Denton Hall, Ilkley

I love Ilkley.  Mainly because I like to get out that way on my bike whenever I can to have some fun in the hills.  There’s some lovely cafe’s to stop and fill up at too.  The whole town & the surrounding area is just lovely.  Denton Hall fits in there perfectly.  Set in the hills just above Ilkley, it has a stunning view over the valley and the town.  Absolutely beautiful!

Unfortunately though, Denton Hall closed at the end of 2022 and went into private ownership.  Not great if you wanted a wedding there. However, if you’re the person who bought it, it’s fair to say they got a pretty nice house there…Might take them a weekend to cut the grass though.

The Big Day

Millie & her Bridesmaids got ready in one of the outbuildings at Denton Hall.  Outbuildings probably isn’t the best description, as they’ve all been converted into fantastic accommodation. I kind of made it sound like she’d got ready in a stable there…

Jamie, got ready locally and came up to the hall to meet the guests as they arrived.

Everything took place at Denton – the Ceremony was beautiful, I always love a good chandelier and this one didn’t  disappoint – it was massive!

It’s a real shame that Denton isn’t available for weddings any more as it’s a lovely venue and absolutely perfect for weddings.

As usual, I’d rather people  looked at the photographs to get an idea of the day, rather than reading my ramblings…
