Hi, I’m Mark, a Yorkshire Wedding Photographer & I’m based in Sherburn in Elmet, between Leeds & York. I’ve been photographing weddings for 15 (ish) years, so I’ve got plenty of experience.
I work in a relaxed and natural documentary style, capturing all of the quirks and individuality that make it your day, not just how it looked, but how it felt.
I do as little posing as possible, none if you prefer, so don’t worry if you’re not a natural in front of the camera, I’ve got that covered.

Documentary Wedding Photography: Is It Right For You ?
Basically, documentary wedding photography just means that for the majority of your wedding day, you won’t know that I’m there.
If you’re the kind of people who want authentic, natural and candid photographs of their wedding day and you’re not that into posing all the time, you’re in the right place. In a nutshell, it means that you get to spend as much time as possible with your guests and not have to worry about posing for photographs all afternoon. I’ll capture the moments as you and your guests enjoy the day.
Do You Just Cover Yorkshire?
I’ve been a wedding photographer for about 15 years and covered more than 250 weddings. Most of the weddings that I cover are in the Leeds, York, Harrogate, Skipton & Sheffield area, but I’ve photographed weddings all around the UK and even into Europe. So, whether your wedding is in the centre of Leeds, or in a field in the Yorkshire Dales, I’m happy to travel, wherever your wedding is.

When it comes to York Weddings, I think I’m at the Hospitium more than any other venue. It’s an absolutely beautiful venue & was built in the 14th Century. The age and character of the building really adds to the atmosphere. When you’re at The Hospitium, you know you’re in York. Couple that with with the surrounding museum gardens, home of the worlds best fed squirrels, and it’s a photographer’s dream.
