Rachel & Rob | Wedding at Sandburn Hall, York

I’m a bit of a regular at Sandburn Hall.  I love working there (You can see why on their site).  Every wedding there is different, but the one thing that’s the same, is that it’s such a great location for a wedding.  Indoor weddings have the massive window.  Outdoor weddings are in the beautiful rose garden, which is also perfect for photographing family groups and then there’s the woods…

The thing that I love most about those woods in summer, is that at about 7pm, the sun comes streaming through the trees and the whole place takes on a life of it’s own.

The Big Day

There was quite a long build up to Rachel & Rob’s big day - I think it was a couple of years between them booking me and the actual wedding, but we got there in the end and it was worth the wait. I love Sandburn Hall, but everything really came together for this one.

What else can I say – it was a great day.  Great people. Great venue.  The weather was absolutely boiling hot – perfect!
