Alex & Marie | Homemade Wedding in Harrogate

I do like to specialise in relaxed weddings.   I have the most relaxed brides and grooms.  Well, there’s no grooms this time, but there are two brides.  That’s two dresses, two lots of preparation photos etc. You get the picture.

Alex & Marie got ready at Willow House farm, just outside Harrogate in North Yorkshire.   The whole day was perhaps the most relaxed wedding that I’ve ever photographed.  Apart from the Swingball later on.  They surrounded themselves with close family (an identical twin sister certainly made it confusing for me when I arrived – I was ok once the dresses were on though!)

After getting ready, we headed into Harrogate and to the registry office and then back to Willow House Farm for an afternoon in the sun.  Family, sunshine, cocktails and perhaps one of the most competitive games of Bride on Bride Swingball  that anyone has ever witnessed.  Croquet made an appearance too, although in typical fashion, I don’t think. anyone knew the rules – I certainly don’t think the aim is to fire the balls at each other…
